
ABOUT talentspark.
The name talentspark comes from founder Dave Lefkow’s own experiences building teams and hiring individuals, first as a recruiter and recruiting manager and later as he built his own professional services teams. During this experience, he found that people with a certain intangible quality (or "spark") could usually be counted on to perform at a higher level than their peers.
As he saw firsthand how quality talent with a passion for their jobs could impact the organizations he worked with, companies like Nike, HP, Starbucks, Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon, Google, Swedish Medical Center, Washington Mutual and many others, he decided that the time was right to form a company that helped companies attract better quality talent.

Dave Lefkow is the CEO of talentspark. For over a decade, he has been a trusted advisor to some of the world's leading organizations on human capital initiatives and has built a reputation for deep subject matter expertise, innovation and integrity. According to the Human Capital Institute, Dave is “one of the recruiting industry’s top thinkers and a pioneer in such concepts as talent relationship management and advanced employee referral/networking.”
He is also an accomplished author and international speaker on human capital, technology, and employer branding trends. He has been quoted or contributed to publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, SHRM, Brand Strategy, HR Today, ERE and BtoB magazine. Dave is a frequent contributor to ERE (www.ere.net) and other industry publications and sits on the national advisory board for the Human Capital Institute.
Most recently, Dave was VP of Professional Services for Jobster, helping take the company from 5 employees and no revenues to a technology and services firm with hundreds of customers, thousands of users and millions in revenue.
Based in Seattle, WA but originally from Chicago, he is a long-suffering Cubs fan that expects them to win it all in his lifetime.
